Youth (YPD)

So get rid of all malicious behavior and deceit. Don't just pretend to be good! Be done with hypocrisy and jealousy and backstabbing. You must crave pure spiritual milk so that you can grow into the fullness of your salvation. Cry out for this nourishment as a baby cries for milk, now that you have had a taste of the Lord's kindness. Come to Christ, who is the living cornerstone of God's temple. He was rejected by the people, but he is precious to God who chose him. And now God is building you, as living stones, into his spiritual temple. What's more, you are God's holy priests, who offer the spiritual sacrifices that please him because of Jesus Christ. -- 1 Peter 2:1–5

What is YPD?

The Youth Ministry exists to expose young people to God's love, connect them with Christians, help them grow in their faith, challenge them to God's service and elevate God in their lives. In short, we teach the youth how to walk with Christ for R.E.A.L. (Righteously Entering Abundant Life).

Recently, a small intimate retreat was held at Sandy Cove Christian Conference and Retreat Center. Throughout the weekend the young adults were able to get to know each other, but more importantly discover who they are in Christ. Six souls were saved – six youth gave their life to Christ, while many others elevated their walk, including many of the leaders. Through the activities and guest speakers everyone in attendance gained some key tools to help them along the next steps of their R.E.A.L. walk.
